At Woodlands Also our Busy Bee’s space is made up of 3 flowing rooms all connected, allowing plenty of space for play, learning and exploring.
With a designated craft area created with Toddlers in mind, the children have free access to a wealth of creative opportunities. The main play rooms are bright and airy with inviting play spaces including all 7 areas of learning as laid out in the EYFS Framework.
The minimum ratio for 2 year olds is 1 adult for every 4 children so there will always be plenty of staff to support each child throughout the day with their play, learning and development.
Our Busy Bee children love to learn through role-play, whether this is in their small world area with people, animals, trains and cars or with our role-play kitchen – capturing their imaginations at all times.
Toys and resources are readily accessible to the children, at their level enabling them to grow confidence in decision making through their play. At this age children are learning new words extremely quickly, our team will be there every step of the way to support and most importantly encourage those speech and language skills.

Outdoor Learning
Empowering their Spirit of Adventure, our Busies have double doors at the end of their main room, enabling endless access to our fantastic outdoor space. Our garden is host to many safe spaces to explore including our mud kitchen, fairy garden and fairy trees as well as a tremendous digging area. With plenty of open space to allow the Busy Bee’s to run off lots of energy before it’s time to go home.
